Tango-therapy Riabilitango® Method
Inclusive movement paths, adapted and calibrated to the individual’s real possibilities, aimed at improving the intrinsic mobility potential and generating
a perception of well-being that increases regenerative health.

Tango therapy is also proposed as a privileged practice for those suffering from neurological disorders
(first and foremost Parkinson’s, ALS and any other pathology that compromises balance, posture, coordination, free walking, etc…).

The fundamentals elements of Tango – the interplay of improvisation, interpretation, the immediacy of contact, closeness and embrace, the steps technique and the music with its regoular beats, pauses and medium-low tones – help generate a sense of well-being and stimulate the production of endorphins (serotonin, dopamine, oxytocine), reducing the cortisol level, the stress preception hormone.

It is now well established that the Tango practice, even when adapted, significantly improves the motor skills of the subjects involved, elevate their mood and predisposition to feel comfortable in their own body.
What to do in practice
The Riabilitango® method is a practice focused on the resources and hidden potential of each individual, despite any disabilities or dysfunctions they may have.

There are moments of solo, group and paired experience. Participants are guides step by step to feel inside their own bodies, percieving any blockages or slowdowns and then, through the proposed exercises, rediscover new ways of movement and new possibilities for resolution.
